makes sense?

life is really full of twists. funny how i used to move on from a failed relationship, and how i realized now that i can truly, really laugh about it. and in the event, i realized that i am now trying to move on from a love that never was mine... haay naku.. nasan na kaya ang prince charming ko? wag na sana magpacharming pa sa iba at naiinip na ako :(

"All things happens for a purpose"
I know that, what's happening now has its purpose. Alam ko na nga na part ng purpose na yun ay para makilala kita lalo, malaman ko for what you really are, and I'm thankful for that. Kaya lang, natatakot ako. Parang may domino effect ata ito, and I wish na matapos na ito at wag ng lumaki pa.

one of my fave songs
LOST IN SPACE LYRICS
Music: tucker/laws
lyrics: tucker
Artist: Lighthouse Family
Sometimes I get tired of this me first attitude
You are the one thing that keeps me smiling
That’s why I’m always wishing hard for you
’cause your life shines so bright
I don’t feel no solitude
You are my first star at night
I’d be lost in space without you
And I’ll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do
Feels just so fine
When we touch the sky me and you
This is my idea of heaven
Why can’t it always be so good
But it’s alright, I know you’re out there
Doing what you’ve gotta do
You are my soul satellite
I’d be lost in space without you
And I’ll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do
And I’ll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do
And I’ll never lose my faith in you
And I’ll never lose my faith in you

Life Cycles
from an email sent by my bro, a very inspiring one, talagang nakakarelate ako
Life cycles
One always has to know when a stage comes to an end.
If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the other stages we have to go through.
Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters - whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the moments of life that have finished.
Did you lose your job? Has a loving relationship come to an end? Did you leave your parents' house? Gone to live abroad? Has a long-lasting friendship ended all of a sudden? You can spend a long time wondering why this has happened. You can tell yourself you won't take another step until you find out why certain things that were so important and so solid in your life have turned
into dust, just like that.
But such an attitude will be awfully stressing for everyone involved: your parents, your husband or wife, your friends, your children, your sister, everyone will be finishing chapters, turning over new leaves, getting on with life, and they will all feel bad seeing you at a standstill.
None of us can be in the present and the past at the same time, not even when we try to understand the things that happen to us. What has passed will not return: we cannot for ever be children, late adolescents, sons that feel guilt or rancor towards our parents, lovers who day and night relive an affair with someone who has gone away and has not the least intention of coming back.
Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away. That is why it is so important (however painful it may be!) to destroy souvenirs, move, give lots of things away to orphanages, sell or donate the books you have at home. Everything in this visible world is a manifestation of the invisible world, of what is going on in our hearts - and getting rid of certain memories also means making some room for other memories to take their place.
Let things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them. Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Do not expect anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your genius to be discovered, your love to be understood.
Stop turning on your emotional television to watch the same program over and over again, the one that shows how much you suffered from acertain loss: that is only poisoning you, nothing else.
Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the "ideal moment." Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell yourself that what has passed will never come back. Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person - nothing is irreplaceable, a habit is not a need. This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.
Closing cycles. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because that no longer fits your life. Shut the door, change the record, clean the house, shake off the dust.
Stop being who you were, and change into who you are.

a nice read sent by my kuya, this reminds us to take chances in life and live life to the fullest
The Secret of Life Is to Get On Board
By Mary Ann Bailey
One of this year's box office hits was the movie, Polar Express. It's a wonderful story about the power of believing.
It is Christmas Eve and a little boy waits in his bed hoping to hear the bells of Santa's sleigh. As he anxiously waits for the reindeer to appear, a mysterious train pulls up in front of his house and the conductor invites him on board. The train is the Polar Express, and it is headed to the North Pole.
As the story unfolds, we learn that, "It doesn't matter where the train is going. What is important is deciding to get on." It is a gentle reminder to us all of how important it is to believe and follow our dreams.
Standing on the Platform
How many trains have you let go by in your life because you were uncertain of where they were going? How often have you found yourself standing on the station platform watching trains come and go, trying to decide which one was the right one for you? There you stand, frozen in indecision, as the world passes you by.
In order to keep growing and learning, we need to keep our lives moving. Water that doesn't run becomes stagnant, and the same is true of our lives. We need to be willing to try new things and be open to new experiences. We also need to trust that the process of life will take us to where we want to go if we remain aware and take advantage of the possibilities and opportunities that are constantly being put in front of us.
Jen was in the process of finding a new job. She was a college professor who had been recently laid off. She had been in education for a while, and although she had several other professional interests, she was having a difficult time actually visualizing herself in any other field.
As Jen stood on the station platform, the only trains that she felt comfortable boarding were the ones that were heading toward the academic world. But is that where she truly wanted to go? On the other hand, the trains that were headed in different directions were too scary to board. So, she felt completely stuck, unable to move in any direction.
Getting on Board
Jen soon realized that taking any train would serve her better than just sitting on the platform, so she took a leap of faith and decided to board the next train that came along. This train took her to an informational interview with the head of local environment group. Environmental issues had always been something that interested her, but she had never envisioned it as a profession. The interview went very well. Jen immediately connected with the director, and she came away with an extensive list of people and organizations to call for further information and possible job opportunities.
This experience bolstered Jen's sense of adventure, so she decided to jump on the next train that came by. This train was headed to a job interview at a local college. The position sounded promising and Jen certainly had all the qualifications. So, she boarded the train with great confidence, only to find at the end of the ride that education really didn't interest her anymore.
The interview had gone well. They asked her back, but it had become clear to Jen during the interview process that she no longer wanted to work in the college setting. The passion and excitement that she once had felt was gone. It was time to move on to whatever her next career path might be.
There is No Wrong Train
It could be argued that Jen had boarded the wrong train because it didn't end up taking her where she wanted to go. Yet, had she not gotten on that train, she would have always have had questions about whether or not she should leave education. Now she knows, and she can pursue other interests with her full and focused attention.
It will take some time for her to sort out exactly what it is that will rekindle her passion. But she knows something is out there waiting for her; and she is excited about all the possibilities and the process of creating a totally new career path. All she has to do is to hang on to her willingness to take a risk and step off the platform.
The answers we seek are not always right in front of us. We sometimes have to take a longer and more circuitous route than we would like to reach our destination. Our journey may require many trains; and if we hold ourselves back from boarding even one of the trains on our route, we may never truly reach our goal.
So, the next time a train comes your way, jump on board and take advantage of all the things you would have missed had you let it go by.
"Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."
--Will Rogers

You'll be safe here
It's been a while since I last updated my blog, and finally, I had brought myself to fix and update this, heheeh..
anyway, here's my fave song now.. kanta muna tayo
You'll be safe here
Rivermaya
(words and music: rico blanco)
Nobody knows
Just why we're here
Could it be fate
Or random circumstance
At the right place
At the right time
Two roads intertwine
And if the universe conspired
To meld our lives
To make us
Fuel and fire
Then know
Where ever you will be
So too shall i be
Chorus:
Close your eyes
Dry your tears
'coz when nothing seems clear
You'll be safe here
From the sheer weight
Of your doubts and fears
Weary heart
You'll be safe here
Remember how we laughed
Until we cried
At the most stupid things
Like we were so high
But love was all that we were on
We belong
And though the world would
Never understand
This unlikely union
And why it still stands
Someday we will be set free.
Pray and believe
Chorus:
When the light disappears
And when this world's insincere
You'll be safe here
When nobody hears you scream
I'll scream with you
You'll be safe here
Save your eyes
From your tears
When everything's unclear
You'll be safe here
From the sheer weight
Of your doubts and fears
Wounded heart
When the light disappears
And when this world's insincere
You'll be safe here
When nobody hears you scream
I'll scream with you
You'll be safe here
In my arms
Through the long cold night
Sleep tight
You'll be safe here
When no one understands
I'll believe
You'll be safe,
You'll be safe
You'll be safe here
Put your heart in my hands
You'll be safe here

di ko talaga hilig gumawa ng new year's resolution, but i'll try to make one for this year..
* engage in fitness activities (exercise, sports)
* babawasan ko na kalat sa room ko (ang hirap ata nun)
* enhance my artistic side (meron ba ako nun?)
* set my priorities and choose my friends more carefully

i was planning to make a year-ender post pero mukhang malabo na atang matupad iyun, dahil mahirap magcompose pag nasa netcafe ka lang.. howell.. ang masasabi ko lang, this year has been a colorful one. maraming nangyari, maraming pagsubok, marami ring natutunan. from friendship to love to family relationship, ang daming nangyari. maging sa mga pagtupad ng tungkulin.
new year's wish ko, sana the coming year will be a fruitful one, at sana ay patuloy ang patnubay at paggabay ng Ama. sana rin, dumating na ang tugon sa panata ko sa darating na taon.
new year's resolution ko? i'll try to make my room clatter-free, para di na kami magtatalo ni mom.

it's been awhile since i had updated my blog.. what's the latest? well.. i had told my supervisor that i won't be staying after my contract ends on january 31. my team manager asked me why i'm leaving. duh.. sya pa yung nagtanong.. anyway, i ask her if she wants me to be frank. then i told her that if the company can't give me internet access, which has the same cost to the company, whether we use it or not, what more if i asked for something monetary like salary or benefits. she then goes on the internet issue, saying that they are honing me to be this and that.. oh whatever.. then i said that that is just one of the reasons. the other is that the company doesn't offer any benefits for parents and my priority is my mom. this is just another way of putting what i really felt about the company. that, even though they are an international manufacturing company, their compensation are not that competitive compared to another companies, and that i can find another company that will give me the same, if not a better, compensation. this, i voiced out to our HR manager when he approached me. my supervisor once told me that company relationship should be give and take. i think i had given enough and they had taken enough. where is the counterpart of the package?
nagiging mayabang o ma-pride ba ako? ewan ko. pero ang alam ko, hiniling ko ito sa Ama bilang gabay kung ako ay dapat manatili sa kompanyang ito o dapat ng umalis.
