It's been months since I had updated my blog. I tried logging a few times pero nakablock na ata permanently ang site na ito sa office. Nakakatamad namang mag-blog pag 'lipas' na yung gusto mong iblog. Anyway, earlier this morning, I checked kung may way ba na magpost sa blog thru email. And voila! This is what I found out. Di pa nga lang pwede maglagay ng tags. Pag uwi na lang saka lagyan hehehe.

Pangyayari sa Bagong Taon

Happy New Year! Alam ko, may 10 araw na ng 2010 ang nakalipas, pero still, new year pa rin naman wehehehe. Share ko lang ang kababalaghang nangyari sa akin, o baka bunga na rin ng kunting katangahan wehehehe.

This is for those who want to get or renew their passport na hindi dumadaan sa agency. I went to DFA last Dec 29, 2009 to renew my passport. Hindi na ako dumaan sa agency since hindi naman ako nagmamadali plus mas tipid kung deretso na, and base sa mga naririnig ko e hindi naman ganun kahaba ang pila. Before I went there, I had the necessary requirements with me as stated sa website ng DFA

Facing the DFA building, don't walk on the right side bangketa kung saan maraming mga stalls ng kumukuha ng picture ID and nagxe-xerox. Dun kasi ako naglakad and ang daming mga nanghaharang na mga tao. Dere-derecho na nga lang ako at hindi ko pinapansin ang mga nanghaharang. Nung nasa may gate na ako, may isang lalake na nagpakita ng ID at taga DFA daw sya. Hiningi yung mga requirements ko at sabi na kulang daw ng thumb mark kaya pinapunta nya ako dun sa katabing tindahan para daw magpathumb mark. Sa tindahan, nag thumb mark na ako. Hiningi ang picture ko. Ang dala ko ay may white na background since yun ang nakalagay sa website nila. Dapat daw ay blue background so nagpapicture ako sa kanila for P160. After, niresibuhan ako ng P180, yung P20 daw ay para sa plastic ng passport. Pinagmatigasan ko na hindi ko kelangan ng plastic kaya P160 lang ang babayaran ko. Wala naman silang nagawa. Pagka-cut ng picture ko at ng madikit na sa forms, siningil ako ng P12 sa pagdidikit daw ng pictures. Tapos sa "Gate 2" na daw ang punta. May nakasabay ako na isang balikbayan, OFW sa middle east. Pagdating namin sa "Gate 2", agency pala yun. Base sa resibong binigay nila, sila ay ang RBC Travel & Tours na may address 215 CK SY Diamond Bldg., Libertad St., Pasay City. Nung nakuha ko ang resibo, dun na sumama ang loob ko dahil nalaman kong agency pala sila at pakiramdam ko ay naloko ako. Ang sinisingil sa akin ay P1,700, hindi pa kasama ang pagpapadala ng passport sa bahay. Pag gusto kong ipadala sa bahay yun ay magdadagdag ako ng P200.

Nung Jan 7, 2010 ay nag-appearance ako sa DFA. May nakasabay ako na first-time na kukuha ng passport. Talagang nag-agency sya at sa RBC nga. Nang makarating kami sa DFA, binilinan kami ng taga-agency na sumama sa amin na ang agency ko daw ay Yiapanda, at ang sa kasama ko ay EISEC (di ako sure kung tama ang spelling). Hindi daw RBC ang gagamitin namin. Hindi ko alam ang dahilan sa nasabing bilin, pero lumalabas na hindi rin ata sila authorized ng DFA?

Ayan, napahaba na, minsan lang naman ako mag-update ng blog e wehehehe. Maraming nangyari ng 2009 pero ang 3 sigurong pangyayari na di ko malilimutan ay ang: pagpanaw ng Ka Erdy, ang bagyong Ondoy, at ang pagpunta namin sa Bacolod.

Sa taong ito, ayun sa hula ng FB, ako ay isasakal wahahaha. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang naghihintay sa taong ito pero ngayong first quarter ng 2010 ay magiging abala ako sa mga bagay-bagay.

mini-update

It's been a year since I've updated my emotional status. I'm still contented. Not that I don't have any dreams or wishes, but I'm happy with my life now. I've learned to value what I have, and to try to work out for things I want to have. It's also been months since I have updated my blog. Many things have happened. Just liked to live in solitary silence for now.

Since I was a child, I'm really a Beauty and the Beast fan . I like it more then Snow White and Cinderella since the two characters in this story get to know one another before falling in love with each other. Which is realistic than falling in love after waking from a kiss. After seeing Teresa Medeiros' The Bride and the Beast, I wondered if somehow, this book is the same as the fairy tale movie that I loved. So I started reading and was not disappointed. This book, which is somewhat similar to Walt Disney's Beauty and the Beast, has also its own story and twists which I think that Beauty and the Beast fans like me will love.

I've been meaning to write this entry since Feb 1 but my tight sched prevented me from doing so. Anyway, last Jan 30, I was able to watch Inkheart a real cute guy caught my attention. I was never for tanned guys, but Rafi Gavron , who played as one of the thieves in a book that came to life, also stole my eyes. Funny when I searched the net, he isn't really tanned after all. But I find him more attractive in his tanned look

i think due to the effects of global warming, ibang iba na ang weather ngayon. last december and early this month, super lamig ng temperature. umaabot ng 17 degrees ang lowest in metro manila alone. sa baguio e nag 9 degrees sila. pero di pa tapos ang january ay uminit ulet, around 32 degrees. then kahapon, ang lamig ng umaga, mainit sa tanghali at ang lamig sa gabi. no wonder marami ang nagkakasakit dahil sa pabago bagong weather, o temperature for that matter. ang kinatatakot ko lang, baka sa summer e umabot ng 40 degrees, wag naman sana. matatag ako sa lamig pero madali ako manghina sa init, huhuhu... sana lang, ok pa rin ang weather, o temperature pagdating ng summer

Happy Reading at 2009

After 9 days, allow me to greet you a Happy New Year 2009. Huli man daw at magaling, huli pa rin, hehehe. Last Dec 30, my mom and I had the chance to watch Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat and Dayo, 2 of the 8 (tama ba) MMFF entries. I also finished reading the four (e-)books of the Twilight saga, and I'm planning to buy them as soon as they're available in bookstores. Maganda ang story, and touching specially for me na isang hopeless romantic hehehe. Since the year closed and started with me reading (e-)books, heto ako ngayon, mega download na ng e-books. Mukhang I'll be into reading again this year. I had already finished reading Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me, and it's ok. But I still like her Undomesticated Goddess the best among her works.

I'm proud to say that these readings has enriched my English vocabulary. Kaya may maganda ring nangyari, aside sa nainspire ako hehehe. Some of the English words I encountered are:

I'll be reading the vampire series of Lynsay Sands. Hmmm.. mukhang I'm into vampire reading ah hehehe. Di naman siguro ako magiging vampire nito sa puyat hehehe.

MANILA -- The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) gave Tuesday the go-signal to implement the long-awaited fare rollback.

“Starting Wednesday, the fare for jeepneys is P8 for the first four kilometers from the present P8.50 and P9 from P10 for ordinary buses for the first five kilometers,” said LTFRB Chairman Thompson Lantion.

a very blessed day

yesterday, october 9, 2008, thursday, was a fruitful day. with the help of a friend, i was able to call and talk to my long lost first love of 15 years ago whom i was wondering how he is all these years. we lost contact after 98 or 99. he's now married, with a 6-yr old kid. i'm very happy that after these years, he still remembers me, and hopefully, we'll have a steady communication.

also yesterday, i went to an interview, and in the many companies that i went to, this company really suits me. the atmosphere is like bfm, but hopefully, the admin is much better. i hope that my search for a "perfect job in a perfect company" would come to an end.

is this an early birthday gift for me? i hope that i can also receive the gift that i had been praying for all these years. with God's help.

papunta akong makati kahapon sa isang interview ng di kawasa'y bumuhos ang super lakas na ulan. zero visibility na nga, buti na lang at di ako ang nagmamaneho. pagdating sa bababaan ko ay pwede ng magswimming sa taas ng baha. hanggang tuhod ang baha at ang ibang mga sasakyan ay nagsisibalikan na dahil di na sia makakadaan pa. awa ng Dios, nakarating naman ako ng payapa, at ang tanging basa lang ay ang aking sapatos at paa (nakasandals naman kasi ako). inabot nga lang ng kulang kulang 3 oras ang biyahe ko na dapat sana'y wala pang isang oras. dumating ako ng pasado alas-tres sa aking pupuntahan na kung saan alas-dos ang aming usapan.

well, ganito talaga ang buhay. nakauwi naman ako ng matiwasay kahit na mejo mahirap sumakay. sayang nga lang, di ko dala ang camera ko para nakunan ko sana ng larawan ang mga kalyeng aming nadaanan.

...inhale....exhale... hay... it's been a such a long time since i last posted here. primarily because i worked in a company that i thought was ok, but, but but... well... i would have posted lots of rants here before, but here are the scenarios:

• in the main office, we have no own working stations. all computers (which are less than 10) are shared and on a first-come first-served basis


• all sites visited are monitored


• even though there are enough workstations in my first client's site, not all have internet connection, and therefore is not conducive to blogging


• blogger is blocked in my second client's site


• with my last client, blogging, or other browsing and net surfing not work related can be considered luxury, since i have a very tight, unmovable, non-negotiable deadline and no manpower resources

to say the least, my work situation is draining me, killing me slowly to be exact, so last july 23, 2008, i tendered my resignation effective last day of August. funny thing was, i submitted my resignation to my boss around 330pm, and after a couple of hours, i received an email from our hr staff saying that my regularization paper is ready for pick-up hehehe.

so now, i'm one of those millions of unemployed looking for work, or somebody good looking who'll adopt me hehehe

life... love... brings color, and at the same time, confusion... now, i'm feeling lonely... or maybe i'm a nuisance to people i asked help from... people i think could do something for my case... i'm glad that still, there are my friends, who, even if i do something foolish, is still there by my side. whether to support me, or to wake me up, the fact remains that they never left me.

late new year post

havent made a year-ender post for 2007, and started the year 2008 with a very busy sched. well, i'll try to post what happened during the past month (yes, one month has gone by since i last updated this blog!)

i ended the year 2007 by giving pen memorabilias to my 4 special frends at church. i also cooked pasta as one of the dish to be eaten during the media noche, a request made by my mom.

january 1, 2008 saw me and my mom bonding at Festival Mall. we were craving for a garden salad and went to Wendy's to have their salad bar, but unfortunately, Wendy's in the said mall dont have it, so we just settled for their prepared vegetable salad.

january 2, 2008, the first working day of the year, i was tasked to go to one of our clients. before i left the house, my mom is already not feeling well, and this resulted from her being confined in the hospital on the said day. she stayed in the hospital till january 5 due to infectious diarrhea.

fortunately, she's now recovered and back to her old self. i just wish that this year will go on peaceful, harmonious, and hopefully, eventful, with my one wish granted...

Last Thursday, November 29, Trillanes, together with his other supporters, went to Manila Peninsula to cool down (accdg to Going Bulilit, hehehe). That incident prompted our COO to suspend work just right after lunch. so of I went, and watched "Enchanted" at Festival Mall. The movie was cool, my mom wanted to watch it after I told her the story. I'm hoping I can grab a DVD of it, or better, if we can still catch it in theaters.

As was the tradition in our company, every last working day of the month, they held a lunch party. This we treat as a substitute to the 1k food allowance they removed. Usually, we have 4 viands, rice, and soft drinks. These viands may consist of 1 spaghetti noodles. But last Thursday, they only have 2 viands for us, and 1 of this is the rubber-like lumpiang shanghai. Lucky for me I have brought my lunch baon.

Reporters covering the Manila Peninsula incident was also handcuffed using straws and taken into custody for identity verification. This also resulted in a one-instance curfew from 12mn to 5am. Now, these media men are the ones suing those who arrested them. Well, life's like that. Gantihan lang yan, hehehe

one weak week

i was sick for 1 week last week, and i still don't know what caused it. i'm now well, but feeling very thin. and i got to take it easy eating, even if i want to gain weight again, it might cause other problems.

i was browsing through friendster and found the pic i'm looking for. i wasn't expecting to miss him but i suddenly did :( i'm moving away from him now, giving myself space before i'll be hurt more than i can handle.

my mom had her eye operation for cataract removal. the operation was called lens replacement, done by Dr. Emmanuel Eusebio (Erap's eye doctor). wala akong commission sa pagpa-plug ha, hehehe :D her left eye was operated last oct. 13, then after a week, her right eye was operated last oct 19. all in all, the operation was successful, salamat sa Dios :) she now has a 20-20 vision, but still needs reading glasses for reading (syempre, hehehe). luckily, naagapan yung eyes nya. sabi ng doctor, muntik na syang magka-glaucoma. pero dahil sa operation, nacorrect na din ito :)

since it's my birthday (well, this is my birthday post, so bear with me, hehehe :D), i'll post a question and need your pov's


bisperas ng birthday ko ang parang "day gift" sa akin, hehehe. 2hrs kaming nagbonding, with a mild panunukso from our p.d. this wasn't the first 2-hr bonding we had, and at both times, parang ayaw nyang matapos ito. (or yun lang pakiramdam ko?)

my question is.... what makes a guy decide to court a girl? may nagsasabing a guy needs signs or encouragement from a girl before he courts her. pero i think i had given such signals (or kulang pa ba? or masyadong sumobra?). for instance, he used to ask me abt my lovelife. then i remembered that i have a pic of him in my cell, so i asked him if he wants to see my bf, and showed his pic, hehehe. i constantly call him "magandang lalake from iloilo south" which i know makes him smile. i also gave him a wallpaper pic of his "dada". when this was seen by a common friend, he teased us. hmmm.. pwede bang palakad sa yo, common frend? hehehe.. anyways, i really enjoy his company, and i think he enjoys my company too. i just wish we'll have more chance to bond and get to know each other better.

after a long time, i found the company where i feel comfortable in. i love my work, i'm still learning a lot from it. i love my boss, we get along really well. i love my colleagues. it may not be a bed of roses but nothing's perfect, right? until i found out that our company hasn't been remitting our sss contributions for over a year. well, they said they are remitting them but unfortunately, they're not reflected in our contributions, due to some sss problems, but the company is duly paying them. excuses. fortunately, one of the cs peepz took the initiative to fix what the sss problem, and our contributions are now updated till march, 2007. why only march? because the grateful and nonsense hr felt that the cs peep has done something wrong, because she's the one being thanked at and not her, the hr. then, came philhealth contributions. most of my colleagues worked here as their first company and therefore has no philhealth numbers yet. the resourceful hr has given out philhealth forms a dozen times already, because she's forever losing them, and therefore can't request for a philhealth number for my colleagues. and those of us that already have philhealth numbers? well, she doesn't know who has and hasn't, thinking that we're only around 50 employees here. then came the demoralizing performance evaluation. so now, what step should i take next?

my mom went to the hospital yesterday due to some stomach concerns. while we are there, i took the chance to have myself weighed, and i found out that im 91 lbs, around 6 lbs heavier than the last time i checked. partida pa to ha, around 7am pa ako last kumain and nagweigh ako past 12 na :D good for me, i hope to attain 100 lbs at least :D

dilemma over

i had been in a dilemma over a suitor na byudo. he has 3 kids, of which im just a few yrs older than his eldest anak. if you're asking me why the dilemma? its because i've been praying for a good husband, and i'm thinking that maybe, my prayer was asking for a so perfect person and since nobody is perfect, he should have his flaws, which is his pagiging byudo. but luckily, kagabi, when i agreed to us having a merienda before the day ends, i learned that hindi lang yung pagkakaroon nya ng anak ang magiging issue sa amin. mas magiging issue ang mga pananaw namin sa mga bagay bagay. now i know na hindi pa sya ang sagot sa panata ko. and i'm patiently waiting, knowing that He has good plans for me :)
